2. Sex, Authority & Money (SAM) and Modern Man: Teens follow

Modern man is beset by three words and acts associated with them. Any one of the three above if accepted passionately in life, other two chases him or her. Any one of three if dictates body, life and mind subconsciously, the other two takes birth unknowingly in life of man. The four drives explained in eternal tradition (Yoga and spirituality) as animal instincts so do modern science speaks of. There is beautiful explanation of the word animal in literatures of Yoga. The word animal in Sanskrit is known by the word,”Pashu” which means chain or fetters. As animal is fettered or imprisoned by four instincts, so they are known as Pashu or animal. Now man has a possibility to remain fettered by these instincts or transcend above them all consciously. It is self awareness in man that helps man to transcend or transform all these instincts or use them consciously so that no harm is done to society. It is difficult to point which of the four instincts is more powerful in the life of man as degree and intensity of every one of them at its peak at different points and conditions in life. Loneliness can either be used for meditation for spiritual awakening or for most evil act of falling prey to teen sex etc. what is more important is the psyche of an individual , which demands urgent attention. But his / her psyche is mostly guided by society and what is present in it. And if society dictates man, then there is no alternative left with man to change as society will continue to dictate the life, passions of man. Man , being self conscious being, has a choice either to submit to dictates of the unconscious pressure of Nature ( sex, food, sleep and safety) or consciously organize his/her life in order to dominate over every one of the. The secret of success in curbing the menace of teen sex and predators lies here i.e. bringing about change in consciousness that dominates over society, animal and social instincts in modern age. Nothing less can bring about any change in society even if law if enforced or severe corporal punishment is given to these predators. Escaping law outside in the society, many people have entered into the field of incest, which has been reported in recent years. The events of incest and predators are being reported almost every day. The cause is domination of passions over self conscious man, until it is awakened, regulated by different means upon oneself, nothing much can be achieved. Religion tried to enforce through different codes, which resulted in rise of homosexuality and sexual abuse amongst people working in holy places. This means neither coercion nor regulation by force outwardly from society can ever result into freedom from this evil.

There is cycle within man of SAM- Sex, Authority and Money. There have been many incidents where a person craves for money, earns it and falls into evils of becoming predators. Others fall prey to it having authority at home or in office, where they enter into incest relationship. Well, sex is considered as the greatest of all unconscious forces that is present in man, when uncontrolled, goes to any extent and does not care for relationship, regulations and society. The solution can never be found in controlling the very sex or bringing down the authority or forcing people not to earn.

Sex is at its best when entered into, for creation as there is no creation without it. Sex is at its best when used for offering one self to others for strengthening relationships, thereby transcending all barrios of body, life and mind. Sex is at its best when taken consciously for transcending the very physical body in which it dwells. Sex is at its best when used for transforming the mind for greater and higher consciousness in order to be more creative, intuitive and innovative in the pursuit of perfect either in personal, professional or social life. In all the above acts, sex has been used to transcend the sex itself. For many these events in life have been unconscious education by Nature. Still others move consciously for Achievement, Accomplishment and Ananda (bliss). But when the same sex dominates the whole being, out of necessity or by the force of society or Nature acting unconsciously, it becomes evils and creates evil doers like predators and incest parents.

The root cause of the evil lies within human being. What reflects in society is basically comes from within man. Man has become totally unconscious, hypnotized by modern tools and moved by money and lives, moves and acts like a machine. The Paradigm of Man is machine, needs to be changed to Man is self conscious being and he/she can bring about a change in him her self by bringing about change in consciousness. This change can be brought about either by one self becoming self aware day by day or by practices, programs and courses that help develop self awareness awaken new awareness that does not solely depend upon material or physical consciousness.

The authentic tradition of Yoga coming from eternal tradition aspires for change in consciousness through physical, breathing, mental, emotional and other practices. But Yoga had been lost and reduced merely to physical practices alone. The eternal tradition which validates that even physical practice of yoga should be done to bring about a change in physical consciousness than at the circumference i.e. outer physical body. The very substance of physical body will definitely change if physical consciousness changes by the practices. This revelation needs to be awakened in practitioner of yoga so that he does not practice alone for body but also and more for bringing about the change in physical consciousness. Any change in physical consciousness, sublimates the unconscious pressure of sex, authority and money and awakens a new consciousness which organizes all of them for the best and only best outcome not only for the practitioner but also for society as whole. …………………….to be continued

1. Enough is not enough: A New Paradigm of Living for teens

EIE is I feel is one few best websites educating every strata of society to prevent kids, and young to fall prey to predators. No doubt education, information technology bigwigs and enforcement are participating collectively to save young from pollution of sexual abuses, but still the problems is increasing at an alarming rate unabated. America is a country where freedom is in the blood of every being. And when we talk about young, growing kids, this freedom is more intense and obsessed. However, freedom comes always with responsibility. While talking about responsibility, EIE is hardly doing anything for young. There is no teaching, education and training for young ones who fall prey to these people. Perhaps, we have taken for granted that freedom for expression is allowed to teens while adults should be controlled by law and punished.

The problem of sex, predators, and constant exposure of the society which encourages sexual explicit materials in all possible manners is not undirected by multifaceted. The effect of society and its trends constantly expose younger generation towards sex and sexual materials. Teen having highly receptive mind, undeveloped emotions, and left with modern gadgets are always prone to these evils of society. Further Education to parents, industry and enforcement has little influence upon virgin minds that are growing and step into adventure considering freedom as their right. Enforcement plays little or no role where two parties agree –predator and teen agree to have sex, without any online contacts. That is where, incest comes into society.

America is a wonderful country where freedom is fragrance of all people, responsibility should become breath in order breathes the fragrance at all time but within one’s capacity. Enforcement comes where freedom and responsibility do not go together but oppose each other. Predators are the product of same society where we want them to be removed completely. Teen sex is becoming a reality in the same society where we want them to control. Is society responsible for all the evils? And if we answer yes, them we are the products of society. Whatever reflects within, manifests outside in society and becomes a problem. In reality social problem is an individual problem. An individual first creates or enters into problem, so that it becomes a social problem. A vicious circle of sex is present at same level, qualitatively if not quantitatively in teens, young, old and both genders. This vicious circle needs to address seriously in order to break this evil from society. And in order dissolve or minimize or sublimate this problem of sex, in sexually exposed society , where freedom is key to life, is very difficult task if not impossible work.

What is required is awaken to higher level of awareness. This higher level of awareness generally come by experience as people say that wisdom comes by experience. This wisdom sublimates the sexual urge ad directs the same energy to other creative pursuits. The effective if not permanent solution lies in discovering creative centers within every child who goes to school. A training program supported by many well designed practices should become mandatory in all schools so that every child learns it, experiments it and experiences change of consciousness. This can be done by Authentic Yoga (eternal tradition). Authentic yoga aims at change in consciousness, thereby change in mental consciousness, and awakening of essential traits like Love, energy, enhanced Awareness and Peace (LEAP). The strategy of LEAP which I call it , will work effectively in curbing this crime effectively. Authentic Yoga aims at change in consciousness so that it changes the very consciousness which subordinates the demands of sex at such an early age. The practices are simple which includes few physical, mental, emotional practices , aimed at changing the Paradigm of Living, i.e. living, moving and acting in creativity, progress, Love, Energy, awareness and Peace(LEAP) will bring about a tremendous transformation in lives of our future young schools students. America is such a great country where there is no end to any experimentation. Here experimentation and innovations are buzz words and breaths of society. However, these experiments had been done in ancient India, during Vedic period with great degree of success. It is sad story that the same is not practiced in India but if America introduces the practices in every schools from the age of 10, 8 years of schooling would be enough to prepare a strong very strong ground and will change the very attitude of teens and they will never resort to such practices. While teaching and conducting classes for thousands of children in India, I realized that an integral education should be given to every child, where subjective and objective departments are well taken care off. The objective areas are well taken care of by educational institutions in America but subjective dimensions have been neglected, which resulted into lopsided development of two hemispheres of brain. Reasons at the cost of love, division at the cost synthesis have been watchwords during the last 6 decades. But now, society needs a paradigm shift, where integration, synthetic and holistic view should replace the paradigms of conflicts and confusions amongst teens. Enough is not enough yet as our efforts should discover a new direction , a new approach to solve this menace which is increasing at an alarming rate in our American society.
